Curator and author
I am a neuroscientist with a background in mathematics and computer programming. My published work is in neurophysiology and computational neuroscience, mostly relating to the hippocampus and its role in learning, memory, and spatial cognition. I am also interested in how the brain implements consciousness and have been working on a book about that. I have written several Wikipedia articles about neuroscience topics and have maintained the Neuroscience project there for several years, under the name "Looie496".
