Mahboub Baccouch (b. February 1, 1979) is an assistant professor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
He received both B.S. in engineering (2004) and M.S. in engineering mathematics (2005) from Tunisia Polytechnic School. In 2005, he received another M.S. in mathematics from Virginia Tech. His Ph.D. studies (2004 - 2008, Virginia Tech) were mainly focussed towards numerical analysis, scientific computing, and partial differential equations.
Baccouch's current research interests are various areas of applied mathematics, in particular, the design and implementation of higher-order Discontinuous Galerkin methods for partial differential equations.
