Emmanuel Desurvire

Emmanuel Desurvire (b. June 7, 1955 in Boulogne-Billancourt, France) has been involved in optical communications for over 30 years. He earned his Ph.D. on his thesis work with Raman fiber amplifiers at the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis (France) in 1983. He went on to do his Postdoctoral research at Stanford University.
