Mathematical theory of the Boltzmann equation refers to the mathematical analysis of the Boltzmann equation and its variants. It does not include the derivation from particle dynamics (Boltzmann-Grad, weak coupling, or stochastic mean-field limit), neither the relation with hydrodynamic equations.
