Talk:Rough and Tumble Play
From Scholarpedia
This is an excellent article that is clear and concise with sufficient relevant references. The only point I would make is that while it is pointed out that rats live in large colonies of many males, females, and juveniles, this is true of wild rats and not, typically, the domesticated strains studied by Pellis and others. I would like to see some mention of what is known about play in wild rats and some recognition of the possible limitations of functional conclusions until validation in more species typical environments is available.
