The article seems good to me mostly. Some comments are shown in the following.

Because history of Neurorobotics started in end of 80s, it is nice to include descriptions about some early studies on Dawin-I, II etc. Reeke, G.N., Jr., O. Sporns, W.E. Gall, G. Tononi, and G.M. Edelman (1993) A biologically based synthetic nervous system for a real-world device. In Artificial Neural Networks for Speech and Vision, R.J. Mammone, ed., pp. 457-473, Chapman & Hall, London.

Kawato also started to build cerebellum based robots in late 80s. This should be included. Feedback-error-learning neural network for trajectory control of a robotic manipulator. Miyamoto, H | Kawato, M | Setoyama, T | Suzuki, R Neural Networks. Vol. 1, no. 3, pp. 251-265. 1988
