Talk:Law of series
From Scholarpedia
This is a fine exposition of a fascinating development: the age-old "law of series" has a reasonable mathematical formulation, and there are theorems to explain its occurrence. These results are not justifying the various popular claims of the past for coincidence, as the author explains very clearly. Rather, the popular notion of "law of series" has led to the birth of a new topic in signal processes and ergodic theory.
Reviewer B:
It is refreshing to see such a successfull effort to give simple and "real" interpretations of such profound and technical mathematical results in Ergodic Theory.
