    This is an excellent and authoritative article. I have only one tiny query.

    Last paragraph before references: The passage, "Only the masses of the constituent quarks come from the . . ." might cause confusion for a reader who has encountered, but not entirely mastered, the expression, "constituent-quark masses," which would be roughly 1/3 of the nucleon mass for the light quarks. You might consider instead writing, "Only the 'current-quark' masses come from the . . . ," or just to omit "constituent."

    Yes, I agree with this. I think the simplest thing is to omit the word "constituent", so I will do this. I have also corrected two very minor typos - the absence of a closing bracket and a missing minus sign. -- TK
