This is a refreshingly written rev. of BCS, presumably without mistakes, arguments seem all in order, clearly written. The list of references is good. For a good graduate student in theory the rev is understandable, however this might be different for one oriented more towards expt. physics. It would be helpful to understand better why it was so difficult to find the BCS-wave fct., to state what is the essence of superfluidity, how BCS-BEC crossover transition may occur and what is the progress since BCS theory in '57 , final remarks on open questions would be interesting.This could improve this review. Yet the rev is acceptable for publication
