    Summary

The temperature patterns in the cosmic microwave background expected in a Bianchi VII universe which was close to isotropy at early times. Inflation could occur in such a universe, albeit with some fine tuning; it would, at first order, superimpose stochastic, isotropic fluctuations on top of this pattern. From Pontzen (2009), based on the dynamical analysis of Pontzen and Challinor (2010).
